As we head into our 10th year as an ensemble, we have some exciting news to share – we’re expanding!
As with so many of our Performing Arts friends, the last couple of years for us have seen ups and downs: new jobs, new cities, big plans, cancelled plans, some wonderful performances together, and unexpected twists and turns. Our goals as an ensemble have always centered around presenting music we believe in, and trying to create concert experiences which challenge the way we view the performer-audience dynamic. With these ideals in mind, we are so thrilled to welcome some longtime friends into the fold to usher in the next chapter of our group.
At some point near the end of 2020, we realized we’ve been collaborating in recent years with people who share so many of the values we do about making music, so it is a natural time for us to bring more people into the fold officially. We’re thrilled to welcome Mari Yoshinaga, Terry Longshore, Jonathan Brown, and Garrett Arney to the PPG family.
Mari, Terry, Jon, and Garrett all bring such a wealth of experience and creativity to the ensemble, and we are excited for what the future holds as we move forward as a collective. We have some fun plans in store for the future, so keep an eye out for some new collaborative content coming soon!
